Take part in the Nerang 200 Miler this September, a highly-anticipated annual trail run that takes place in Nerang National Park in Queensland. The Nerang 200 Miler features a number of distances that can be completed at your own pace over three days, and offers the perfect opportunity to get active this spring.
The 200 mile course is the main event of the Nerang 200 Miler, and is the ultimate challenge for trail runners, featuring 12 loops of 25km plus 4 5.5km loops. For a lighter challenge, runners can choose the 100 mile course, which features 6 loops of 25km plus 2 5.5km loops. There’s also a 100km route, which features 4 loops of 25km, and a 50 mile course of 3 loops of 25km plus a 5.5km loop. Further shorter distances at the Nerang 200 Miler include the 50km course, 25km course, and 4 x 25km relay.
All events will have a generous cut-off time of 96 hours, which can be done by all fitness levels if planned properly. Participants are welcome to complete the distances in their own pace, and can set up camp throughout Nerang National Park throughout the run. Participants will also be required to bring their own headgear, food, and camping supplies. Upon completion, you will receive a commemorative memo of your finished distance.
